Welcome to the confusedious science blog…
Hello and welcome to the confusedious science blog!
This first post shall serve as a brief explanation of who I am and what I hope to achieve here.
Put simply, I’m a scientist and science enthusiast. My educational background to this point has been in the biomedical and biological sciences, broad fields full of things that never cease to fascinate me. I hope to soon embark on further studies in biological anthropology, a field that I can’t wait to dig into (pardon the pun). To me biological anthropology is a field that combines that best and most interesting parts of everything else I have studied and in time may become the primary focus of this blog.
UPDATE: I am currently a post-graduate student in the field of biological anthropology. So some of the above goals have been achieved!
For the time being the purpose of the confusedious science blog will be to present overviews of any interesting books, articles or lectures I stumble across from the fields of biology, ecology, genetics, medicine, anthropology or really anything else from any other at least semi-scientific area that seems relevant. If I get time I may post the occasional review and synthesis of a topic that has tickled my fancy. Forgive me if I indulge the odd tangent, I’ve been known to do that. I hope that the things I find interesting may interest you too and if I’m lucky be of some use to you. Please feel free to make requests, comment or criticise, that is what good science is all about after all.
